Spring…and Snow?

26 Mar

Spring officially started this past Saturday but that didn’t stop the weather from snowing in Boston early this morning. The sun is out now but students and teachers have been reporting very cold temperatures. Other signs of spring are arriving however. The duck boats are back in action and the Red Sox will be playing at Fenway in less than two weeks. Spring would be a great time to head on over to Boston Life for a free trial LG conversation lesson or to join us for our Spring Potluck dinner on April 9th.

Rain, Rain Go Away

16 Mar

Rain! Spring time is coming here in Boston and with that comes rain. Fortunately it has stopped for now but the rain took over for the past three days, causing rivers to flood and leaving puddles everywhere. Roads had to be shut down and public transportation is still suffering from the effects of all the rain. The sun is shining bright today however, which is a very welcomed change! We will finally be able to enjoy the extra hour of sunlight that we have gained from Daylight Saving Time, which occured this past weekend admid all the rain. The 10 day forecast for Boston is looking great for the most part with warmer temperatures. It is only a matter of time before we will be able to enjoy the warmth and the sunshine and the flowers in the Public Garden! And, of course, the Swan Boats!
